SETUP VERIFICATION PROCESS This will help you to verify the correct ESC is plugged into the correct motor, as well as the channel polarities are correct: Method 1 - Arm the unit and apply throttle just enough to start all three motors then spool down a few clicks until the motors stop. Tilt the craft to the right (tail towards you) and the right motor should turn on to level the unit, and conversely tiling the craft to the left will turn on the left motor. If this is backwards swap your left and right mixer to ESC connections. You can verify if tilting the craft backward will start the back motor, but if left and right are correct the F/B connection will be correct. Method 2 - power up enough so the Y-UFO becomes light in your hands near hovering. Tilt the craft left and it should attempt to self-level and counter-act the tilt. Tilting right you should also feel the Y-UFO fight the tilt and speed up the right motor. If any of these connections are backwards, the Y-UFO will accelerate the tilt and attempt to flip over. Once this is correct there is one more step to make sure your radio channels are not reversed. Do not reverse channels to fix the issues above, only swap mixer ESC connections. Now apply right aileron and see if left motor speeds up, followed by forward stick to see if the rudder motor speeds up. If aileron or elevator are backwards reverse channel 1 or 2 (Futaba) and 2 or 3 for (JR). Finally, apply left rudder and see if the rudder boom tilts right. If not reverse channel 4. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=784277&page=75
